A sample from the cuvée, from an estate run by the Gadais family. this cuvée is closed with a screw cap. It has a lovely depth of colour in the glass, and a zesty, expressive nose, with salty chalk minerals, verbena, minty white apple fruit, verbena and juicy citrus notes, all cut by that garden-variety mint note also seen on the nose. Very confident texture, but with a clean structure beautifully lifted by fresh acidity. Gives immediate joy, but also has that cerebral saline note, and some bitter traces of rainwater in the finish. A very fine Muscat and undoubtedly of great value.
